WALLHACK SY-001 & MO-001 Cleaning Guide

A great mousepad is incredibly important for your overall gaming experience. However, they can become dirty over time. If you’re experiencing performance issues, tracking issues or LOD issues, it may be time to give your mouse pad a good cleaning!

While some mouse pads, such as our SP-004 Glass Mousepad, may be easy to clean, our SO-001 and MO-001 are cloth pads, and require a bit more care. Don’t worry as we’ve got you covered!

Here’s how to clean your WALLHACK SY-001 and MO-001 Cloth Mousepads:

[PROCESS 1 - For Light to Medium-Level Dirtiness]

What you will need:
  • Lysol Disinfectant Spray
  • Lint-Free Cloth

Steps:
  1. Quickly use your lint-free cloth to wipe down any loose debris from your cloth pad.
  2. Hold the Lysol can at around 15 centimeters away from the affected area, and spray it in short bursts.
  3. Use the lint-free cloth to wipe down the sprayed area.
  4. Repeat as necessary until desired results are achieved.

[PROCESS 2 - For More Stubborn Stains]

What you will need:
  • Dry cloth/Towel
  • Cleaning Cloth
  • Mild Dish Soap

Steps:
  1. Place the mouse pad into a bathtub, or sink, full of luke-warm water.
  2. Put a dollop of mild dish soap onto the mousepad, in the affected area.
  3. Gently scrub the mouse pad with the cleaning cloth to remove oil, stains or other unwanted debris.
  4. Remove the mouse pad from the (now) soapy water, and rinse it thoroughly.
  5. Dab away excess water with a clean towel, and place the mousepad on a rack to let it fully dry.
  6. After a few hours, get the mouse pad, and get your game on!

Note: Cleaning your mousepad may revive some of it's performance, but also poses a risk of damage, and may otherwise alter the feel of the pad. It's important to clean your pad at your own risk, and to handle it care while doing so. In many cases, preventative measure are more important to prevent the mousepad from becoming dirty in the first place.
